Chiropractic with Dr. Matt

Patient centred care based on what works best for your needs and comfort. Matt uses manual hands on treatment, mobilization, Activator (instrument assisted adjusting), soft tissue therapy, and drop table adjusting. Patient centred care based on what works best for your needs and comfort. Matt uses manual hands on treatment, mobilization, Activator (instrument assisted adjusting), soft tissue therapy, and drop table adjusting. Patient comfort is key so all treatment will be fully discussed with you during your visits.

Acupuncture is also available from Dr. Matt as a chiropractic service. Any acupuncture provided would be classified as chiropractic under any extended health benefits or insurance. New acupuncture patients will be required to undergo the same initial examination process as a chiropractic patient.

Physiotherapy with Danielle

Danielle uses patient centred physiotherapy for joint, muscle and nerve pain focused on comfort and effective treatment. Exercise and rehab as well as manual hands on treatment with the focus on what is best for the patient at all times and stages of recovery.

Registered Massage Therapy

Traditional massage with Kayla and Asha! Each therapist will complete their required examination prior to beginning any therapy. Massage therapy is focused on restoring proper function to your muscles and helping to prevent aches and pains.

Kayla McCluskey

Kayla McCluskey graduated with honours from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2019. She is passionate about massage therapy and providing her clients with excellent care in the clinic as well as personalized home care to help in between treatments. She specializes in deep tissue massage, stress reduction, and will ensure every client has a treatment plan catered to their specific needs. Kayla is always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge in the field to provide many avenues of treatment for her clients.

When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys being outside around a bon fire at the cottage and spending time with her husband and dog Cash!

Danielle Stirrett

Meet Danielle

I have a strong passion for helping people of all ages and abilities. So, when I found a career that would allow me to help and empower people to reach their personal goals, I was set.

In 2014, I graduated with honours from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While completing my undergraduate degree, I gained valuable experience working and volunteering in settings geared towards physical activity, physiotherapy and health promotion with a variety of patient populations. Those experiences solidified my decision to pursue a career in physiotherapy, and in 2016, I completed my Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University.

Both of my degrees and work experience have led me to develop a keen interest in treating with manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and improve function, and exercise prescription for long lasting relief and self-management.

My entire treatment philosophy revolves around delivering patient-centered care, which means I tailor my treatment sessions to you, the individual. I also strive to keep my clients informed by providing education regarding their condition and treatment, so that they can be engaged and play an active role in their therapy.

I believe in lifelong learning and have completed additional courses in K-Taping, soft tissue release, manual therapy, exercise prescription, diagnosing dysfunction and persistent pain.

I love Barrie and exploring the Simcoe area! In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, hiking, spending time outdoors, rock climbing and travelling! I also like to run and recently completed my first half marathon!
